Know your customers

Customer intelligence built only from your own payments

You already know your best customers by face. EPG knows them by receipt. Lifetime spend, purchase rhythm, last payment, memberships and refunds are read from your transactions and shown per customer, so the answer to "who matters here?" is arithmetic rather than memory.

What is EPG customer intelligence?

EPG customer intelligence is a per-customer view calculated from a merchant's own recorded payments: total spend, number of payments, average ticket, first and last payment dates, purchase frequency, recurring membership status, package balances and refund history. It uses no purchased data and no third-party profiling.

What you see per customer

  • Total spend, payment count and average ticket.
  • First payment, last payment and the gap between purchases.
  • Active membership, package balance and loyalty points where they apply.
  • Refunds and disputes attached to that customer's payments.

Labels that mean something

A customer is called quiet because the interval since their last payment is longer than their own established rhythm — not because a model felt uneasy. Every label can be traced back to dated transactions you can open.

Data you already have

EPG uses the email and payment records that came through your own checkout. It does not buy consumer data, does not track your customers around the internet, and does not build profiles from anything other than what they bought from you.

The facts

  • All customer metrics are derived from the merchant's own recorded payments.
  • EPG purchases no third-party consumer data and performs no cross-site tracking of customers.
  • Money figures are stored and computed in integer cents.
  • Each customer's history is scoped to the merchant that took the payments.

What this does not do

  • Metrics need identified customers: cash-like or anonymous payments cannot be attributed to a person.
  • EPG does not score creditworthiness or predict individual behaviour.
  • Figures reflect payments taken through EPG, so history from another platform only appears if it was imported.

Common questions

Where does the customer data come from?
Only from your own payments taken through EPG, plus anything you imported. EPG does not buy consumer data.
How does EPG decide a customer is inactive?
By comparing the time since their last payment with their own previous buying rhythm. The dates behind the label are visible.
Can my staff see customer records?
Access follows the role you give them. Owners and managers see more than front-desk staff, and access is enforced on the server.
