Protect revenue
Revenue recovery: the money already in your history
Most lost revenue is not lost to competitors. It is a card that expired, a renewal that failed on a Tuesday, a package somebody paid for and never used, or a good customer who simply stopped coming. EPG works those out from your own payments and puts them in front of you as a short list with amounts attached.
What is EPG revenue recovery?
EPG revenue recovery is a deterministic read of a merchant's own payment history that identifies failed payments, failed subscription renewals, dormant customers and unused prepaid balances, each with the amount at stake. It surfaces opportunities; the merchant decides and performs every action.
What gets surfaced
- Payments that failed, with the amount and when it happened.
- Subscription renewals that failed, so a membership does not lapse silently.
- Customers who used to buy on a rhythm and have gone quiet.
- Prepaid packages and store credit that were paid for but never drawn down.
Deterministic, not a guess
Every figure comes from recorded payments in integer cents. An opportunity is worth what the underlying transactions say it is worth. Potential value is labelled as potential and is never added to your actual revenue anywhere in the product.
You send the message, always
EPG never contacts your customers on its own. You read the opportunity, you decide, and if you email a customer from EPG you confirm that send yourself. Marketing messages require a recorded agreement from that customer first.

The facts
- Recovery opportunities are computed from the merchant's own recorded payments, in integer cents.
- Potential value is never counted as recovered revenue.
- EPG sends no automatic outreach; every message is confirmed by the merchant.
- Opportunities only appear once there is payment history to read.
What this does not do
- EPG does not guarantee any revenue will be recovered.
- EPG does not retry, re-charge or alter payments on its own; retries are Stripe's, on Stripe's schedule.
- A brand-new account with no payment history has nothing to recover, and the page will say so instead of inventing opportunities.
Common questions
- Does EPG automatically win back customers?
- No. EPG identifies the opportunity and the amount at stake. You decide whether to act, and you confirm any message that goes out.
- Does EPG retry failed payments?
- Retry behaviour belongs to Stripe. EPG shows you that a payment or renewal failed, what it was worth, and who it was for.
- How is the amount at risk calculated?
- From your recorded transactions, in whole cents. Failed payments and failed renewals are worth their own amount; unused packages are worth the balance still owed to the customer.
- When do opportunities start appearing?
- Once you have payment history with identified customers. Before that, EPG tells you it does not have enough history rather than showing filler.
