Payment links, a storefront, and payment at the counter
A payment link is the shortest distance between a price and money in your account. Enterprise Pay Gateway creates one for every product you add, hosts a public storefront listing them, and lets you charge an ad-hoc amount in person — all on Stripe's own checkout.
What is an EPG payment link?
An EPG payment link is a shareable URL for one product or amount. The customer pays on Stripe's hosted checkout, so card details never reach EPG or your website, and the payment is recorded against your business the moment Stripe confirms it.
What you can share
- One link per product, service, deposit or session pack.
- A storefront page listing everything you sell, with pay buttons — useful if you have no website.
- An invoice with a pay button when the amount is bespoke.
- A counter payment: type the amount, the customer pays on their own phone.
What happens after someone pays
The payment appears in your dashboard with the amount, the platform fee and the customer's email, written from the verified Stripe event rather than from the browser. Refunds, receipts and payouts stay in Stripe's hands; EPG shows them itemised so a net payout number is never a mystery.
Bank payments on bigger tickets
US bank debit (ACH) can be offered alongside cards, which usually matters most on large invoices where a card percentage is the difference between a good job and an average one.

The facts
- Checkout is hosted by Stripe; EPG never sees or stores card numbers.
- Money settles into a Stripe account in the merchant's own name.
- Every payment record is written from a signature-verified Stripe webhook event.
- Payment links, the storefront and counter payments are included on every plan.
What this does not do
- EPG is not a payment processor and does not hold merchant funds.
- Payout timing is set by Stripe, not by EPG.
- A physical card reader is not part of the product; in-person payment happens on the customer's phone.
Common questions
- Do I need a website to use a payment link?
- No. A payment link works on its own — you can text it, email it or put it in a bio. You can also publish an EPG storefront page that lists everything you sell.
- Who takes the card details?
- Stripe, on its own hosted checkout page. Card numbers never reach Enterprise Pay Gateway or your website.
- Can I take a payment in person?
- Yes. Enter the amount at the counter and the customer pays on their own phone with a card or wallet. The screen updates when Stripe confirms the payment.
- Can customers pay by bank transfer instead of card?
- US bank debit (ACH) can be enabled through Stripe for larger tickets, alongside cards.
