For plumbers, electricians, HVAC and cleaning companies
Collect the deposit before the van leaves, and the balance before you do
Enterprise Pay Gateway gives a field business a way to charge from a phone: a deposit link sent with the appointment, a QR code the customer scans at the door, an invoice for the remainder, and automatic follow-up when it goes unpaid. Payments run through your own Stripe account and settle straight to your bank.
You keep your own Stripe account, your Stripe rates and your payout schedule. Stripe processes the payments and pays your bank directly. Enterprise Pay Gateway is independent software and never holds your money.
What you can do on day one
Deposit before the visit
Text a fixed or custom deposit amount when you book the job. A paid deposit is a customer who is still there when you arrive.
Charge at the door, no terminal
Enter the final amount on your phone and show the code. The customer pays with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on their own device.
Invoice the balance
Send the remainder as an invoice with a payment link, and see exactly which jobs are still owed.
Automatic payment reminders
Unpaid invoices are followed up on a schedule you approve, so nobody has to ring a customer about money twice.
One record per customer
Every job, payment, refund and invoice against the same customer, ready for a repeat visit next season.
Multiple crews, one account
Add team members with their own sign-in, keep locations separate, and see who took which payment.

What you can count on
- Card details are entered on Stripe's own hosted checkout, never on our systems.
- Stripe pays out to your bank account. We never hold your funds.
- Your subscription, our platform percentage and Stripe's processing charge are always shown separately.
- Monthly plans with no long-term contract. Cancel and keep taking payments in Stripe.
Common questions
- Do I need a card reader?
- No. The customer pays on their own phone through Stripe's hosted checkout, using a link or a QR code you show them. There is no hardware to buy and no card details pass through your phone.
- Can I take a deposit and the balance separately?
- Yes. A deposit is one payment link and the remainder is an invoice or a second link. Both sit against the same customer record.
- Does it work without signal on site?
- You need a connection to create the charge, and so does your customer to pay it. If signal is poor, send the invoice and it can be paid later from the link.
- Who processes the money?
- Stripe, under your own Stripe agreement, and Stripe pays your bank on its normal schedule. Enterprise Pay Gateway never holds your funds.
- What does it cost?
- Plans start at $49 per month plus a 0.75% platform fee on processed volume, falling on higher plans. Stripe's own processing fees are billed separately by Stripe.
- Can I cancel in the quiet season?
- Yes. Plans are monthly with no long-term contract, and your Stripe account keeps working afterwards.
