Stripe Chargeback & Dispute Management

An unanswered dispute is lost automatically. Stripe emails you, but the deadline is easy to lose in an inbox, and the context you need is spread across records.

Stripe on its own

  • Dispute notifications by email
  • Evidence assembled by hand in the dashboard
  • No overview of what is at stake this month

With Enterprise Pay Gateway

  • A dispute list with amounts at risk and days remaining
  • Customer and payment history attached to each dispute
  • Alerts before evidence is due
  • Disputes counted in your weekly recovery summary

How to set it up

  1. 1Connect payments
  2. 2Open Disputes in the dashboard
  3. 3Submit evidence before the deadline

Questions

Who decides the outcome?
The cardholder's bank decides every dispute. Enterprise Pay Gateway helps you respond in time with the right context; it cannot influence the result.
Does Enterprise Pay Gateway submit evidence for me?
No. You submit the response yourself; Enterprise Pay Gateway surfaces the deadline and attaches the relevant customer and payment history so you have what you need.
How much notice do I get before a deadline?
Disputes are flagged with the days remaining and an alert before the evidence deadline, so it does not depend on catching an email.
Are disputes included in reporting?
Yes. Open disputes and amounts at risk are included in your weekly recovery summary.
Can I see why a payment was disputed?
Yes. Each dispute shows the reason code Stripe provides along with the related payment and customer record.
Does winning or losing a dispute affect my Stripe account the same way?
Yes. The outcome is decided by the cardholder's bank and applied to your Stripe account exactly as it would without Enterprise Pay Gateway.
